LUCKNOW: About a dozen BJP state leaders and legislators left for Bangalore on Thursday to participate in ''satyagraha'' and offer court arrest on September 5 in protest against the case against Uma Bharti.
Those who left on Thursday include party general secretary Vindhyawasini Kumar, national vice-president of Kisan Morcha Vinod Pandey, Yuva Morcha national general secretary, Yuva Morcha vice-president Sameer Singh, Mithilesh Narain Singh, Suresh Tiwari (both legislators, Chowdhury Laxman Singh and Anil Vajpayee).
Senior party leader Kalraj Mishra would reach Bangalore on the day from Delhi.
Besides these leaders, party vice-president and UP affairs incharge Kalyan Singh is likely to join the BJP protest in Bangalore on September 6.
Meanwhile, the Rashtria Dhwaj Yatra by Ayodhya sadhus and saints, led by former BJP state president Vinay Katiyar would begin from Ayodhya dham Friday morning. The yatra would reach Charbagh railway station. BJP, VHP and Bajrang Dal workers would accord a warm welcome to the saints before they leave for Bangalore by Trivendrum Express.
The yatra would pass through 58 stations where these saints would address gatherings. These saints and sadhus would hold a demostration on September 5 and court arrest to vent their ire against Uma Bharti''s arrest.
